Good deal to make?

Give: Sizemore and Lilly
Get: Ichiro and Nunez

Note: Ichiro goes back into the draft, whereas Sizemore can be kept thru 2012.

Sizemore still has elite talent, but he has a long ways to go to get out of this prolonged slump which spans back to last year. With Ichiro at least you know what you're getting on a consistent basis - which is AVG and Runs and some SBs (at this age I don't see him approaching 40 ever again...anything close to 30 should be considered great). And Núñez is a solid closer...not elite but above average.

So I would do it. You have a great group of keepers that I don't see Sizemore cracking this year. I'd put Pujols, ARod, Utley, Crawford, McCann, Jeter, McCutchen, Halladay, Sabathia, Greinke, Jimenez, Garza, and Soria all ahead of him at this point.

Who to Drop?

Haha, I own all of these players. I'd take Ichiro and nUnez any day. Sizemores FB/GB is down his contact rates are down his BBL/K rates are down. I traded Jimenez and jackson for him and hamels. Worst idea ever. He's a bum. Ichiro is an absolute producer, sure his steals will be down 3 or 4 this year but honestly you know what youre gonna get and nunez is so underrated. Hes a champ. Lilly will be solid but he wont be worth ichiro, i expect around a 4 ERA who averages like 17 pts a week.
