I'm doing alright offensively, and Holliday's been pretty disappointing so far. I need to upgrade my pitching. Thoughts?
Make sure to refer me to your topic as well.
Thanks.

Both of these guys will only get better as the season progresses, and the overall trade is better for the other party, but if you can give up Holliday's output (which WILL get better - he's hitting well, just unlucky when hitting with guys on so far) and still maintain a strong offense, then I see no problem with getting an ace like Greinke. Just don't get frustrated when Holliday starts hitting with guys on base and he's scoring points for the other party.
Help with mine:

Greinke won't be getting a lot of wins with the Royals. But your pitching seems great and getting Greinke will help your rotation. I never liked Holliday, but you gotta wait it out for him to get going.

You will always have value with a guy like Greinke should u need the offense later -- so it's solid. but indeed, Holliday will heat up.

I don't think you need to make the move. You have solid pitching so no need to add one more. Also I generally like to have hitters over pitchers.

I wouldnt make this trade. The season is still early and your pitching looks pretty good. Id sit on holliday and wait for him to heat up. Im not a big Greinke fan and Holliday is only going to get better. If you wait a couple weeks or so and he heats up his trade value will be higher and you could still go get an arm.

I believe Holliday will heat up this summer, don't you worry......BUT getting Grienke for him is an even trade in my mind. PLUS if you ever want to flip Grienke later that should not be an issue.
