This is a 10 team h2h points league (4pts for homer, 3 for triple, 2 for double, 1 for single, r, rbi, bb and no deduction for avg or k's) (10pts for W, -5 for L, 7pt for save, 1 pt per strikeout and IP, -1 per ER). I was thinking of this trade:
I give Morneau/Bay for his Holliday/A.Gonzalez
If no go for that trade, should I try Morneau for Holliday straight up? This would leave me pretty thin at IF position is the only thing I'm concerned about.
My team: C: RMartin 1B: Fielder 2B: Polanco 3B: Reynolds SS: A.Cabrera IF: Morneau OF: Bay, MKemp, Choo UT: Laroche Bench: Hawpe, Roberts (IR)

I think you're doing well here. Morneau typically starts off hot and cools off significantly (i.e., tanks it) in the second half. I'd rather have Gonzo from here on out (if Gonzo is traded to a more hitter friendly park that's just added bonus).
Also I was down on Bay to start the year but I didn't think he'd do this poorly. Say he turns it around and hits .280, 20-25 HRs, and about 15 steals...pretty good numbers but it's still production that Holliday is likely to duplicate (or surpass) with less risk involved.
I think you're upgrading both positions from now on and I see no reason not to pull the trigger on this.

Just wanted to let you know we addressed your question specifically on the Cafe's fantasy baseball podcast, The Can of Corn, which aired this afternoon on Fantasy Baseball Cafe Radio - give 'er a listen and you'll get some answers! Hope we can help
I think you would be upgrading at both positions. It may not seem like it right now but by the end of the season you would have the better end of the deal, i say do it
C Montero C Iannetta 1B AGon 2B Altuve 3B Moustakas SS Desmond CI Youk MI Kendrick OF Heyward OF CarGo OF McCutch Util A Ramirez(SS) BN Revere,Moreland,Viciedo DL Hart SP Kershaw, Scherzer RP Hanrahan, Street P Henderson, Anderson, Boggs BN Wheeler,Lynn
I like it. I think youre buying Holiday at the right time. He is a slow starter ad a bit banged up (groin) but should get going as we get warmer. I like Morneau, but he is very injury prone. A-Gone is very solid and could get traded to a better team, like Boston or ChiSox and even still produce if he stays where he is. I do not like Bay this year. The new park, the Mets being a mess, his balky knees and HoJo as his hitting coach are all costing him value. I would sell him while his value is still there.
