As we all know figgs is in a rediculous slump, or maybe hes just not any good anymore. either way hes been killing my team when i play him. when either grandy or ells return (i picked up wiggs and gardner to replace them) i think Figgs becomes a must drop with his current lack of prodction, limited upside in seattles atrocious lineup, and zero potential for HR or RBI. And my roster has a ton of speed once my OF gets healthy even without chone. But the question is, would you drop him *right now*?
FA's available who play either 2B or 3B are: 2B -Theriot, Callaspo, Hudson, Desmond, Guzman, Aviles 3B - Freese, Bautista, Beltre, Blake
my current lineup: 10 team H2H league. (R H HR RBI SB AVG) C Barajas 1B Konerko 2B Ian Stewart (2b, 3b) 3B Mark Reynolds (1b, 3b) SS Hanley Ramirez OF Bobby Abreu, Carlos Gonzalez, Brett Gardner Util Michael Cuddyer (1b, OF) BN Chone Figgins (2b, 3b) BN Ty Wiggington (1b, 2b, 3b) DL Jacoby Ellsbury DL Curtis Granderson
After thinking about it some, i guess i dont even really *have* to pick up a 2b or 3b to replace figgs when i have reynolds, stewart, and wiggington to man 2b/3b. without chone i still have three 3b eliglble players and two eligible 2b. ss is the only position i dont have a backup for (cuz obv hanley is beast) so perhaps Theriot is my best option?
some other FA's are: swisher, willingham, huff, gutierrez
This is false. Do not attempt this as the pain and embarrassment you will have to endure from kicking yourself in the ass will be unfavorable. Just bench him for now and play the preferential pitching matchups with your other options. In short, you're panicking.

when ellsbury and/or granderson return you would still keep figgins? and drop who? keep in mind i only have 2 bench spots for hitters
figgins only attributes (stolens bases, and runs) are already one of my teams strengths, and will be even more so when my 2 star OF return... so i dont see anything that he will add to my roster even *if* he does return to a somewhat respectable form
you think i should drop a guy who is hitting .300+, has 12hr, is eligible at 3 positions, and has the most hr in the league for 2/3 of those positions?
i think there will be plenty of guys on the waiver wire throughout the season that can put up 2010 chone-like numbers that i can pick up if i am in desperate need of a couple steals or runs
