Yahoo trade review doesn't tell the commissioner or the league why the trade was denied. They just approve it or deny it. Sorry you were misinformed.

I don't remember the trade b/c I heard about it happening in a league I wasn't in, but Owner 1 traded his closers to Owner 2 for either an SP or a bat. Got vetoed by Yahoo. Explanation was finally rec'd by Yahoo and was something along the lines of "Owner 1 can still gain x amount of points in saves".

Owner 1 was last in saves and WAY behind even getting 1 more point so decided to punt the category. Makes no sense.
