Return to Commissioner's Corner

Reynolds is batting .228 and Francisco is about to with the Cy Young award he's pitching so well. We all know he has the talent to do it. If teams drafted again today, he'd be a top 5 round pick.
Reynolds went in the 3rd round????????? at the highest?? Are they looking at the number of teams that deny the trade or base their decision on talent? There's collusion in our league, so at least 6 teams have denied this trade. Any thoughts?

Does the committee deny the trade based on how many people write in, or if the trade is fair?
I give them a F. And would never buy in their service again.

If the league agrees that the trade is fair, than can't the 2 teams put the trade in again and have the commish process it?
(thus eliminating yahoo from tossing the 8 ball at the trade)

Our commish is a total tool and would not do that. I'm asking if anyone knows the Yahoo Trade Review system and how a trade that close could get denied. It doesn't seem like I'm going to find an answer. I have another source.

I'd rather use owner veto before Yahoo veto..nuff said.
The one year we used it (2006) it let Dan Miceli for Tim Hudson through even though several people wrote in against it.
Vetoed Schilling and Isringhausen for David Wright and Clay Hensley (who was pitching ok back then). Owner giving up the 2 arms was 1st or 2nd in all pitching cats, needed hitting badly.
Allowed Derrick Turnbow for Adam Dunn. This one wasn't so bad on the surface but Turnbow lost the job a week later.

Yahoo Trade Review looks WAY WAY too much into what teams are saying. There's collusion in my league and Yahoo is listening. I'd NEVER use them again

You've said this twice out of context. Can you explain what kind of collusion you think is going on?

There are many flaws with Yahoo's internal trade evaluation system. Paying the service that is also hosting your leagues, and is probably being overworked and overextended, is a waste of your league's money. If you are interested in having neutral evaluation of your trades to prevent collusion and remove the league commissioner from the process, feel free to contact me as that is part and parcel of what we do.

I don't remember the trade b/c I heard about it happening in a league I wasn't in, but Owner 1 traded his closers to Owner 2 for either an SP or a bat. Got vetoed by Yahoo. Explanation was finally rec'd by Yahoo and was something along the lines of "Owner 1 can still gain x amount of points in saves".
Owner 1 was last in saves and WAY behind even getting 1 more point so decided to punt the category. Makes no sense.
