Trade De La Rosa for Justin Upton?

Postby login » Thu May 13, 2010 6:32 pm

I got offered Justin Upton for my Jorge De La Rosa. Upton has been a bust, will he turn it around? Should I accept this trade?

Absolutely make this trade. You've got the SP depth to do it.

Do it. I'm not sure this would even make it through veto's in my league. I'd probably veto it.

Are you kidding me?! Take that deal in a heartbeat, no matter what.

Ok now that you've done that, calling JUp a bust is a pretty loud statement. If you were to actually *look* at his stats you would realize that hes quite far from being a bust... Right now even if he remains batting .224 he is on pace for 100+R, 20+HR, 70+RBI and 20+SB, again thats if he remains at .224, he probably won't push .300 like he did last year, but .275-.280 isn't out of the question. That means even if he starts hitting, like he will, just a bit hes easily going to surpass 100R, 25HR, 85RBI, 25SB. Outside of Kemp and MAYBE Rios, you don't have another OFer on your roster that you can say that about.

Your SP is stacked, and have no need for De La Rosa, do this deal, not even a question in my mind its a huge, HUGE, H-U-G-E win for you.
