The guy has been dropped in over 2000 leagues in yahoo today. What's the deal? Someone know something that I don't?

Spot starters.

Cha-Ching. Can't believe so many are spot starting him tho, has looked damn solid in 2 starts so far. I wouldn't start spot starting him til he blows up once or twice.

Yeah, exactly. I'm surprised his ownership hasn't skyrocketed as fast as Jaime Garcia's did. Chacin has been super in his 2 starts so far. Here's hoping for a 3rd great outing, vs. WAS tonight.

Chacin finally gave up an ER. Zimmerman took him deep with 1 on in the 1st. Still pitching great since that blip though.

Ew. All that damage in the 5th with 2 outs! Did anyone see him? How'd he look?

my opinion, he was pitching alright. Must remember it was raining pretty heavily before the game and during the inning where he gave up the four runs. I would give him a pass on this outing and look to the next. Its hard to pitch in bad weather.

that 5th inning only had one really hard hit ball, the Zimmerman homer. The other hits were bloops.

he still looked good to me.

Nasty, nasty weather conditions. I'll give JC a pass on this one.

Chacin has a little time in the rotation for now. Hammel and Francis are both going this weekend, Greg Smith does to the pen and E.Young hits the DL to accommodate them. What will happen when De la Rosa is back though, is a question. Chacin might be the odd man out. I suppose it depends on how his next 2-3 starts go. He's a two start SP this week.
