What are your thoughts on him and what he could do this year?

Little to no value in most re-draft leagues. Relief pitchers are about opportunity as much as talent. Even if he's called up today, he'd need to work his way up from the 6th or 7th inning. His control is probably closer to his PCL numbers than his Texas league. If his control improves and his arm doesn't fall off, no reason he can't be a closer down the road.

Ive read a couple reports that they are stretching him out to be a starter.. If thats the case he has a lot of value.. His stuff is filthy.. Ill see if I can dig up the article.. I'm pretty sure Rotoworld was one of the articles I read a couple of weeks ago..

He's gone 2 innings in his last 3 games. That would increase his value for next season since if he does become a starter he probably wouldn't be up until next June unless they bring him up for the pen this season.

based off the possible values...im allowed to hold 3 prospects and currently own SS Starlin Castro (moved to my roster), CHC Jesus Montero, Michael Montgomery, Martin Perez. Anyone think Scheppers will have more value than Montgomery since hes still out there...
