I also look to get the best player in the deal, but you are giving too much up in terms of your roster value.

you would go from: 3B-Zimmy, UTIL-McGehee, SP1-2-3: Ubaldo-Verlander-Hamels to 3B-McGehee, Util-Howard, SP1-2-3: Ubaldo-Gallardo-Davis.

I think your squad loses too much, seens how you already have a very nice 1B (yes not Howard power numbers, but I would rather a top 5 3B like Zimmy over starting McGehee who has a solid shot of fading) and its not worth ripping your SP apart to get another 1B. I love your 1-2-3 now, and not a believer in Gallardo over Verlander and I have a hard time saying I like Yovani better then Cole either. Very nice deal value wise, but I think your team hurts too much by losing that much talent just to get another big bat.

I agree with the above post. I wouldn't make this deal. If you only could give up one pitcher I might do it because I am a big Howard fan. But, I do like your team already and think you could get a better deal.

thanks for your help with mine

Agreed with that they said. If you were only giving one of those two pitchers I would do the trade...

I would take Buchholz and do the deal then. I think Buchholz will be on the the same level as Hamels, Gallardo and Verlander is a toss up if they both pitch to their potential and I love Howard. So I would do it.

please help with this one

Thanks for the help on mine. Do the deal and I would go after Bucholz as well rather than Wandy. I thought you would be giving up too much SP action before, but this does get more value on that end for you.

Please help again...more offers were made:
