Are any of these deals worth it for Braun?(WHIR)

Postby kidsilk » Wed May 12, 2010 6:32 pm

Just a simple question without seeing my roster which sucks ;-D

I have had two offers for Ryan Braun:

Offer 1: Carl Crawford and Justin Verlander for Braun and Chacin

Offer 2: Grady SIzemore and Austin Jackson for Braun

Should I take either of these? I am leaning towards no.

If I wanted to trade Braun what should I be looking for?

I would not take either of those trades. Simply not getting a good enough return. If you were going to trade braun, you should be getting another 1st rounder

The first trade is better, but I would like to see you get a bit more .... I do like Crawford and Verlander as a start.

What size league at least? That would be whether or not I say yay or nay.

If its 12 or bigger I would take that first deal just about in a heartbeat. Thats a great deal for Braun and a Rookie arm who may not have a rotation spot in the matter of a month.

Your talking about getting in return at least a top 5 OFer and a top 5 SP. Crawford has potential 1st round value, at least high 2nd round and Verlander has mid-low 2nd round value, so thats a nice trade.

Trade #2 is a heck now, thats junk. But I would take the first deal if its anything over a 12-teamer, because you won't be able to get any more value then that in a league with any type of signifigant size.

i know u didnt wanna show ur roster but it could help. if your struggling in steals and ks, then id say go for the first deal. braun is the ultimate 5 tool guy and helps you everywhere, but if u got plenty of power bats and ur sps are lower k guys then id really think about the first deal. both of those players are fairly young and proven. verlander is through with his terrible april as usual, so its smooth sailing from here. also crawford has had a nice 5 tool start, and the steals are sure to come where i expect at least 50 from him. If you need sbs/ks then id say yea to the first deal.

HELP PLEASE

Then hell yeah I'd do that 1st deal, 12 teamer with deeper rosters. Great deal IMO, value wise.

Help me out with the 3 trade possibilities?...viewtopic.php?t=411580

With such a deep league I'd also accept the first deal.

Thanks for your help on mine. ;-D
