Thought about starting him, but his career numbers vs TOR are ugly....more importantly, he's got the 4th worst GB% (30.3%) numbers this year for SP's over 30 IP, and among the worst 10 for long FB% (41.3%)

Toronto leads the league in HR's at 60 for the year, 11 more than the next team. I don't see this going well...gonna sit him. That being said, now that I'm sitting him for the first time all year, he should throw a gem, so start him with confidence! !+) ;-D

He might go the way of Harden (waivers)... hate to leave a good game pitched on my bench, end up having to cut these borderline guys b/c I can't take the temptation and end up trotting them out bad game after bad game.

I'm thinking the same thing... I own Slowey in 3/3 leagues (%-6 ) and I'm sitting him in all 3 right now... that Toronto offense is no joke, even if it is over-performing right now. Like somebody noted previously, he just can't seem to escape the big inning.

Man, Slowey hates pitching at least 6 complete innings.

He did better than I was expecting last night, but I'm still glad I sat him.

Is Slowey EVER going to pitch at least 6 innings against any ballclub not named the Indians? This is getting to be ridiculous.

Same thing every start. It may be getting into his head.

I sat him today because I'm a long way ahead in all the cats he can help (or otherwise) in. Marginally a good decision.
