If games only lasted 5 innings, Slowey would be a Top 50 starter right now. Why can't he continue his success the entire game? He had only 2 hits last night going into the 5th inning, and came out in the 5th with 8 total hits and 5 ER.
He's 4-3 now with a 4.62 ERA and 1.56 WHIP. He's not a lost cause yet, but I will probably only start him with favorable matchups until he can make some improvements.

I was going to post something similar last night. I don't have any actual numbers to back it up but every freaking start he's awesome for 3 or 4 innings and then just blows up.

His ERA for his first 15 pitches is 12.60.
His ERA for pitches 16-59 is 2.58
His ERA for pitches 91-105 is 16.88.
After pitch 60 his WHIP jumps from the low 1.teens to 2+
Fatigue?

I remember Scott Baker having the same problem last year.
Hopefully it changes for Slowey because I'm having a hard time starting him nowadays.

Slowey also had off season wrist surgery with screws inserted into said wrist. Sounds like a pretty hardcore procedure, but he still managed to be ready for spring training and start the season on time. I'm not saying the wrist surgery is the reason why he's doing well .... but it could have something to do with it.

I am, but its H2H so I'm not as worried about Ratios on Monday.

Even though the Twins are picked to win, I think I'm going to sit Slowey tonight against the Jays (in a roto league).
