can anyone confirm that CarGo will be returning to the lineup for the rockies double header vs Philly on wednesday. I found a couple of reports that said he "should" be back with the team but they are 2 days old and nothing definitive yet...

As a Cruz, Montero, Granderson, Brett Anderson, and Jason Heyward owner I can almost guarantee he will take longer than anticipated to return and may possibly end up on the DL. I know, he's not hurt, but still, he will probably end up on the DL. Trust me, I know these things.

OF Carlos Gonzalez, who was placed on the bereavement list Sunday, will return to the roster Wednesday. Gonzalez left the Rockies in Los Angeles and flew Sunday to his native Venezuela to attend the funeral of an uncle, who was a mentor and father figure when Gonzalez was growing up. To make room on the roster for Gonzalez, 2B/OF Eric Young Jr. is expected to be optioned back to Class AAA Colorado Springs.

"Gonzalez to be available Wed. : Colorado was rained out on Tuesday night as they were hosting the Philadelphia Phillies. The rainout means that Rockies RBI leader Carlos Gonzalez will only have missed two games during his three-day bereavement leave to attend an uncle's funeral in Venezuela. He'll be available for both games Wednesday in the subsequent doubleheader. (Updated 05/11/2010)."
