Are any of these guys that have got off to fast starts done?

There are a few guys that have had major games in the past few weeks but do you think these guys are slowly coming back down to earth or will very soon?:

- Kelly Johnson
-Alex Gonzalez
-Austin Jackson
-Andre Either
-Andruw Jones
-Jayson Werth
-Alfonso Soriano

and if you want to, name some other guys that have had fast starts that have started slowly coming back down to earth or will pretty soon....

Jose Guillen. Dropped him today for Mat Latos (needed pitching help, deep hitting bench).

He's been trash for a few weeks now. The ride was fun while it lasted.

I will say that Werth and Ethier are not guys who have got off to fast starts and are done. They are the two definite standouts on that list. Solid fantasy plays for the season, IMO.

Guys who will not continue -

Kelly Johnson - may have another month similar to april inbetween 4 months where he barely sees his bat hit the ball once a week.

Austin Jackson - He strikes out way too much to keep performing like he has so far.

I'd get rid of Gonzalez ASAP as well. All his #s are way out of line with career numbers...

He was the Jose Bautista you know b/c he was selected by the Orioles as a rule V pick back in 04 at age 23 having never played above A ball. Bouncing around 4 teams in 04 and getting only 88 AB's will kill your developement. After only 1 year at AAA, he's basically had to learn on the job in the majors. Finally a team, Toronto, took the time with him and now it's paying off. I think he's the next coming of Jason Bay, late Bloomer. May not hit for the avg of Bay, but a player that will avg .250 to .270 with 30 bombs the next few years.

Kelly Johnson is not "done." He's a streaky hitter. The average won't be at .300, but I think with that ballpark and his age progression, .280 isn't out of the question, along with 30 dingers and a boatload of runs batting atop the lineup.

Austin Jackson will cool down, but he's a legit prospect. Ethier/Werth won't sustain their ridiculous pace, but I agree that they are both very solid fantasy options and should continue to produce very quality numbers for the rest of the season. I am leery of Soriano's fast start, but I can't argue with his track record, so take that for what it's worth. I hate Andruw Jones, I refuse to buy into his hot start after THREE years of terrible production. Alex Gonzalez is a flash in the pan.
