This is a 10 team h2h points league (4pts for homer, 3 for triple, 2 for double, 1 for single, r, rbi, bb and no deduction for avg or k's) (10pts for W, -5 for L, 7pt for save, 1 pt per strikeout and IP, -1 per ER).
My team: C: RMartin 1B: Fielder 2B: Polanco 3B: Reynolds SS: A.Cabrera IF: Morneau OF: Bay, MKemp, Choo UT: Laroche Bench: Hawpe, Roberts (IR)
There are two different potential trading teams...here are the three options:
1. My Morneau and Lilly for Victorino and Cliff Lee
2. My Morneau for Matt Holliday and James Loney
3. My Morneau and Bay for Matt Holliday and Adam Dunn
Option 1 gets me a stud (but old) pitcher and good OF, option 2 gets me a stud who hopefully turns things around and Loney, and option 3 gets me a stud who hopefully turns things around and a power hitter. I like the Dunn idea to get more power, but is giving up Bay too much of a price? Please let me know what you think - sorry if some of you have read previous related posts. Thanks! WHIR
i like the 2nd deal alot. i love buyin low for holliday for you. loney seems to have a starting spot on ur roster as well. At this point id take holliday over morneau or pretty close, plus loney puts it over the top for me.
Deal 2 is awesome -- you all but replace Morneau with Holliday, and given M's injury issues, you may benefit there already ... BUT then add Loney on top of that, who is coming into his own ... I take that for sure. Remember Holliday this time last year and how he turned it on as the year progressed and he was dealt.
I like #2 and #3. It all depends on if you are a believer of Bay with the Mets which I am not. #2 is a nice deal, but like I say if you trying to get rid of Bay thats another possible route.
