Alright, I know it sounds like an easy deal but.. WHIR!

Hi, I'm in a 12 team H2H ESPN points league with something in the neighborhood of 12x12 cats.

I picked up Starlin Castro about a week before his debut (As a cub's fan, I've had him on my radar for a while). He had his awesome debut, and now a fellow Cubs fan REALLY wants Starlin.
I personally have Orlando Cabrera and Yunel Escobar to mix and match into the SS spot. I have a feeling that Starlin could produce more points than these two, but it honestly cannot be enough to justify turning down this deal. Being a Cub's fan and having a hole at SS, however, makes me sad to trade away this exciting kid.

HOWEVER

Justin Upton OF -for- my Starlin Castro SS.

I have Victorino, Jason Bay, And Carl Crawford already (All 400-450 projected point producers, same as Upton), but still. I could use Upton to spell an even worse Bay, or even use my new found OF depth to swing a trade for something else.

I'm also trying to be greedy by swinging Castro and Chapman for Verlander, but he won't bite at that. Lol

In a second! Youy have to capitalize on his big game and traed him while his trade value is at its highest. And youre right -- no brainer lol

Thanks, I'll try to follow a greedy rule of trading that I'm sure exists - and attempt to get even more.

Any additional opinions? Somebody turn me off of Castro in the context of this trade :P

Hey thanks for the help. If you haven't already done this deal, do it right now. I guarantee you don't get any better value this season for Starlin Castro than Upton.

DO IT NOW! Nobody will know who Castro is in about a week and Upton will be hitting .280/100/35/100/20.
