Butler for Lidge? WHIR GUARANTEE

I'm in a H2H points league. Could really use another RP and have an extra 1B. We play two Utility bats and 3 RP slots. Would you deal Billy Butler for Brad Lidge? I would probably offer Loney, but I think Butler has a bit more value.

I think a Loney for Lidge deal should get it done, (Rather keep Butler over Loney) just my opinion. You got A-Puj @ 1B already....go for it

Try Loney for Lidge or Loney and Corpas for Lidge before dangling Butler. Push comes to shove, Butler for Lidge is tolerable but Loney is the preferable move.

I wouldnt do it. Lidge is far to inconsistent. Butler has a lot of value ynow id look elsewhere.

This is right on. Loney first, then Butler if you have to.

I guess you should consider that fact that I've been Butler biased ever since I drafted him into a prospect system during my first ever fantasy league. Despite that, the consensus values Butler more than Loney - who could get be shipped off to fill a need instead. It's always worth a try. Besides, Butler is about to go KING KONG all over that power category... I wish..

Loney for need (Loney + need for need UPGRADE?) before Butler for need (And get the best darn value in that return if it is Butler)

i guess i'll go with the majority here and say loney for lidge. it would be nice to see if lidge is actually going to pan out this season, but with pujols there, you dont have to worry too much.

Honestly would try to target a different closer than Lidge. Way too risky.
