I wouldnt. Zimmerman for Morales or Votto is a wash, I honestly dont think reyes is going to produce like he did in the past his yr so theriot is the better option. Then its down to dempster, choo and a 4th rounder for grienke who may win 8 games this yr. So its a no go for me.

I don't think that really addresses needs the way your league is set up. You already have the best keeper 3B option in the league in Longoria, so Zimmermann is mere window dressing. Seeing as you don't count steals, Reyes isn't nearly as valuable as a standard 5x5 league (and we never know if he'll really be healthy again). Greinke is a great get, but you're giving up a good deal of younger talent (Choo, Morales/Votto) a and a prime draft pick to get it.

stolen bases are part of the 5x5 so they are counted....

also a 4th round pick is kind of like an 8th since we keep 4 players

still a no go?

The value is there for sure IMO, but it makes no sense for your roster. You have Rollins and Longoria why would you want to add another 3B and SS and deplete your OF.

I agree with the first poster. Since you already have Longoria, why would you need Zim? Maybe try to get a similar player to fill another need instead. Same thing with Reyes and Rollins. Go for guys where you need to make your positions better all-around, not deeper. Please see mine:

I agree with this post.

You are giving up too much for essentially Grienke.

The balance in value is definitely there, but even most real life teams would catch flak if they obtained value instead of needs. Looking at your roster, it's not the type of deal that you NEED to make either. Instead, you should just press on and find something that makes sense to your needs - if at all.

I agree with the other posts. In terms of value, I like it, but really how does it meet your needs. Ask the guy you're dealing with for some time to think it over and try to shop Longoria or Zim for something that you'd need more.

Thanks for the help with mine.
