Rasmus has been a top 20 OF so far so I don't think he qualifies as expendable.

I agree about not dropping Billingsley yet. Do you only have the one bench spot, and are all of your pitchers starting?

I think Matsui is a safe drop. I just dropped him in a deeper 12 team league and I'm not concerned about anyone picking him up. If he starts hitting well again or gets another OF start you should have time to get him again but I would rather have Chacin or Romero on my roster at this point. And I like either of those guys over Volstad too.

I like Chacin or Romero over Volstad. Volstad is way too inconsistent, he will burn you eventually. Don't drop Billingsley, don't drop Rasmus, and I like keeping Matsui around because Rasmus sits against lefties so much. IMO, you should pick between Chacin and Romero. I'm leaning towards Chacin right now.

thanks for all the input guys. I think I may drop Volstad for Chacin.

I have been thinking of dumping Matsui for Pierre to have some speed to plug in if I need it.

it is a daily league, so all of my pitchers start unless I want to sit anyone. And yea, we only have 20 roster spots. I could have another bench hitter if I dumped a starter.

Chacin in fine and MAY continue to play and be good, but there's proven upside with Billingsley if he can turn it around. Volstad was very hit or miss last year and doesn't give you K numbers, so I'd say he's the one to drop if you want to give Chacin a shot.
