I think most fantasy owners should forget about Riske for now. First of all if they do sign urbina he will be the closer, I don't care what any article or bullshitting GM says. Also it seems like the Indians will do anything to not make Riske the closer, for some reason they really don't trust him. And if by some miracle he does have the closers job on opening day they will take it away from him after his first blown save and give it to Jiminez. I don't really don't trust this Indians closer situation, I would stay far away from it.
Indians GM Mark Shapiro said today that even if Ugueth Urbina is signed, David Riske will remain his team's closer. OK... so Riske wasn't going to close over Bob Wickman, but he would close over Urbina? Huh? One of the ways adding Urbina would make some sense is because keeping Riske in a setup role would make him cheaper throughout his arbitration years. If the Indians aren't going to offer Urbina the closer's role, it's very unlikely that they'll sign him.

I'm pretty sure Florida said the same thing last yr about Looper remaining the closer when they traded for U2...and we know what happened there.
Yeah, its the same case with Florida last year. Urbina would be a waste of money (he is anyways but...) if they brought him in and didn't let him close. hes a PROVEN closer. Riske is shaky.
