Price and Span for Ethier WHIR

Good trade for me? Can my staff afford to give up Price? Or should I hang on to Price and try dangle a lesser pitcher for a lesser hitter to try improve my OF?

I may be in the minority but given the keeper, you might see if he'd take Verlander and Span ... I like Price a lot long term and Verlander seems awfully up and down. If you do that, though, maybe he gives you an arm in return.

I'd try to dangle a lesser arm and see what happens. Price is becoming an ace, so you'd need to maximize his value if you trade him. Try to give him Verlander first for Ethier. He may reject it, but it's a starting point. Then you work from there. You either work up to including Price, or you work down and take a lesser hitter. You have Kemp, so you don't necessarily need an outfielder quite as good as Ethier. But he would be nice to have.
