4-0 Phils in the 5th. Braves got 2 on with no one out. Hamels hasn't been dominating, but he is getting by.

Seriously, the guy was dominant throughout his career - HS, college, minors, and early majors. He had a great outing last week, but for the most part he has been shizzle since winning the 2008 WS MVP.

Walking the pitcher was pretty bad, but he hasn't been as terrible as his stats suggest. After this game, he might have the highest BAPIP against in the league. He has been extremely unlucky this year; it's not like he is getting hit hard, other than that game against ARI.

Are you watching the games? I'm not a stat guru and couldn't tell you what a BAPIP was, but he doesn't have the control or command he used to. That's why I say he's fallen off.

Anyway, Lidge just had two homers turned into deep fly ball outs and he saved a 5-3 win.
