Herges or Riske?

Postby Manutd016 » Tue Mar 23, 2004 9:11 pm

Both are on waivers in my league, and if you check the Indians website Riske is still closer even if they sign Urbina. That said i would still take Herges. Your pick?

Well considering on today's combination of news, I dropped Riske in two leagues for Herges...

I really don't think Riske is going to have the closer's job when they pay uugie the millions...

It seems like these bottom-of-the-barrel closers are discussed more than anything else.

Riske.

The AP reports that Indians GM Mark Shapiro is no closer to signing Ugueth Urbina (P) Fla and Shapiro said that even if Urbina is signed, David Riske will still be the team's closer, according to the AP.

Agreed. A rebuilding team like Cleveland doesn't throw $$ at Ugie as a set-up guy.

I doubt if the tribe gets Urbina...

I would take Herges in a non-keeper league and Rwiske in a keeper league.
