Pujols Trade...

I am trying to acquire Albert Pujols, without giving up Ryan Braun or Evan Longoria (this is a KEEPER league - year 3 of 5, maybe longer?)

Here's what was on the table (that got vetoed by the league)

Albert Pujols + Miguel Olivo for Matt Kemp, Cliff Lee + Paul Konerko.

The guy that has Pujols is a very hard negotiator and won't settle to pack him up unless it was for a top 5 player in return... You know, equal talent for equal talent? (Since he wasn't gonna get Braun or Longoria, he would try to max Pujols' value and get as much back in return, and who would blame him for doing so?)

We are NOW in discussions of an Albert Pujols for Matt Kemp and Cliff Lee... I want to try and give him Carlos Pena in the deal as well... Since I would have 3 1B, in Konerko, Pena, and Pujols (if the trade did go down with the league). I still don't think the 2 for 1 would fly and will get vetoed, even if Konerko was not included in the trade talks...
