Just got offered Verlander, giving up Matusz and Konerko... Without evening knowing the rules / teams / etc, that's a no brainer low / high scenario right?

As long as it doesn't leave a hole at 1B yeah.
League Setup:
13 Team Points League
6 Hitters 3 Pitchers (Positions don't matter)
1B = 1, 2B = 2, 3B = 3, HR = 4, RBI = 1
Win = 12, Save = 5

Agreed - I have Konerko at CI, and will replace him with McGehee from 2B, moving Jose Lopez to 2B from the bench...
