Return to Draft, Trade, Keeper and Waivers Questions

So after a month or so of dealing with a crappy third base platoon of Chipper Jones and Martin Prado I decided to make a move to solidify the position. I had both Robinson Cano and Kelly Johnson as second base so I thought it would be safe to move Cano. I made the following offer to another manager not expecting him to accept it:
I give:
Robinson Cano
Austin Jackson
I receive:
Alex Rodriguez.
The other team definitely needs 2b since he's only starting Juan Uribe, and I threw in Austin Jackson since I have too many OFs to make up for the difference in value between the two. What I want to know is how likely is this trade to be vetoed?

Depends on many aspects. What is the league parameters? How many teams? Who are the players being replaced?
Has this deal gotten accepted yet? Why make an offer if you worry about it being vetoed?

I do not think it should be vetoed. Cano is the number #1 fantasy player in my league so far this season, also A-Rod was traded straight up for CC Sabathia in my league last week. I have a policy that if it is not collusion you should not veto a trade.

You make the offer hoping to improve your team. My job as a manager is to improve my team NOT make fair trades. I propose trades that favor my team and hope the other manager thinks it helps his team.
Help

Worry about the veto AFTER the trade's been accepted. I don't actually see this as completely lopsided. Assuming Jackson comes back down to earth and A-Rod gets back to being A-Rod, I think it's a decent trade for both parties.
Help?

Thanks for the replies guys. Yeah it was accepted which made me wonder about the chances that the trade would be vetoed, because I didn't think the other manager would go for it. 12 team H2H, standard yahoo 5x5 categories btw.
