Postby pvhawkeye » Thu May 06, 2010 4:11 pm

If you guys could give me your top 2 SP from the following that would be awesome. We rank W, SV, HLD, ERA, WHIP, K/9 H2H league

Fister (SEA) 35 IP, 2 W, 1.29 ERA, 0.80 WHIP, 4.11 K/9
Romero (TOR) 42 IP, 3 W, 3.00 ERA, 1.07 WHIP, 8.57 K/9
Pettitte (NYY) 39 IP, 4 W, 2.08 ERA, 1.21 WHIP, 6.23 K/9
Plus take a quick look at the free agent list to see if I'm missing someone-
Free agent list listed in order of "Rank" by yahoo-

I would take Penny over all of them, but his k/9 is kind of weak.

Other than that, I don't think the Jays pitchers should be on the wire. Marcum and Romero are both solid.

Please help

I'm amazed Romero is still available. he's definitely one to grab. Also, i'm high on Buchholz, i think he's doing very well, the numbers just aren't showing well yet.

I've had Romero since picking him up during week 2 or 3. Buchholz did look good, but since I haven't followed baseball very much before my first fantasy year this year (besides standings and playoffs) I don't know much about individual players.

I think Marcum is the best on there...Romero would probably be #2.Wouldn't touch Brad Penny...won't last.

wow on another forum I've gotten a couple of people saying Penny was in their top 2, one guy said he was #1... weird. But one + side is that he's the #4 starter for a winning team. Anyways, thanks for your opinion- I'll check yours out

Romero, Bucholz, and Marcum in that order. Bucholz has the most upside of the group IMO. Not sold on Penny.
