Pujols for Tex/Hamels? WHIR

Got offered Pujols for Texeira and Hamels?

Should I even consider this? Hamels is throwing well this year and of course Tex will heat up.

As a Pujols owner I would not. Talent wise probably dfair, but if I'm giving up the best player in the league I don't want fair, I want a premium, and to me that is not a premium. It would take a a couple of first/second round type players to pry Pujols away.

I'd prolly hold out for a better deal as well. I understand why it is tempting since your SP's are a bit weaker. I'd try and counter with a 2 for 2 deal or something. Pujols + Lowe/Penny for Tex + Top 15 starter.

Agree with the rest here ... you can get better in return for Pujols. Maybe Tex and a stronger pitcher than Hamels. We all know Tex is a slow starter, but he's still not performing yet. I'd still rather have Pujols.
