Id do that, Cano will likely cool a bit, (not too mcuh, but he wont stay at .400 and 50 hr pace), and obviously granderson is hurt. Good deal for you.

I like the trade for you as well. Phillips will give you similar power, but more steals and lower avg at sb, and you upgrade your pitching staff.

Well I guess I shouldn't go through with it, since I'd be getting the Cano side. I obviously need an outfielder, or at least help for the bottom of my lineup, and he originally offered me Grandy, Guillen, and Feldman for Carpenter. Here's my roster:

Just another vote here for not doing it. I want the Carp Phillips side of the deal. You could use some OF help, but I don't like what this deal will do for you, and you would have to sit Grandy for about a month before he comes back

I would keep the Yankees - lot's of runs in the Yankees linuep when Granderson comes back. Yes Phillips is the best player in the deal but Cano is not that far behind Phillips and Granderson might be more valuable than Carpenter. Street is not a deal breaker.

How does everyone feel about the first deal he offered me: his Granderson, Guillen, and Feldman for my Carpenter? I know I won't have Grandy for a month if I make the deal, but he'll definitely produce when he gets back, plus I can keep him for next year.
