Is Hunter Pence Droppable for...? WHIR

Postby jarobert » Thu May 06, 2010 8:54 am

I'm in a 9 Team Roto League. With extra scoring categories for OPB and SLG.

I'm currently in second but near the bottom in Stolen Bases and OBP.

I want to drop Pence for one of the following: Brett Gardner, Austin Jackson, Juan Pierre, Rickie Weeks

In such a shallow league no one is going to grab Pence right now and there are always decent players on the waiver wire.

Am I being an idiot? Pence is killing me and Houston sucks.

If you need steals, drop him and grab Jackson or Gardner. In such a shallow league you have a lot more wiggle room.

Which do you prefer? I realize that Gardner might end up platooning again but I can replace him at that point.

In this situation you want to maximize steals, so go with Gardner.

Bump. Any other thoughts?

Drop Pence for Gardner, Pierre, or Jackson?

In a 9 team league I don't even know why you have pence.
