How do the keeper rules work and what does the rest of your team look like?

I always have a hard time trading the best player in a trade. Pujols isn't old yet either, he will still be the best hitter in baseball for 3-5 more years. I do love Hewyard and his talent though and you are getting some solid value in return.

Like pizzaboy said what are the keeper rules?

I think it would take alot for me to give up Pujols in a keeper. Heyward and Haren is a nice start, but Ichiro's value in a keeper is less. Not to mention if this is a deeper league, Marlon Byrd is not thrown in, he is a decent player in his own right.

Budget is $260 I believe....it's a pretty deep league, so yeah Byrd isn't a throw in.

i like it. a very forward thinking trade. ichiro is still gonna deliver his 200 hits and swipe his bags and help your average, and haren really solidifies your staff. heyward will be a work in progress, but great long term value. do it and dont look back.
