Rajai and A. Hill for N. Johnson and V. Wells????

This is a 12 team 5x5 roto keeper league.

Was offered Rajai($15) and A. Hill($13) for N. Johnson($9) and V. Wells($11).

I am close to first in all hitting categories except steals, which I am basically last. Do I keep what I have and try to milk my steals from Upton, Span, and when healthy Cruz, or do I go after the elite speed guy and throw him in my starting lineup over Span? This then gives me 3 stud 2B to use and try and trade to someone else.

Do I pull the trigger on this?

The name value is there, and Davis is starting to heat up so he would fit nicely in your need for speed.

My two questions would be:

1. Where are you planning on playing A. Hill. Doesn't seem like he would really fit on your team.

2. You are adding money (don't know if that will have an effect on you later in the year or maybe have keeper implications based on your format)

I don't really have a spot for Hill. I thought either he or K. Johnson would make great trade bait to allow me to package with Bartlett for a SS upgrade or Upton or Span for an OF upgrade.

I'm not real worried about the $$ at this point in the year, but just wanted to put the numbers up in case the questions were asked.

If the money doesn't worry you too much and you think you can eventually trade A.Hill or K. Johnson, then yes, I think I do this move.

Your bench is loaded with studs for a 12 team league - Vlad, Cruz (when he comes back, A.Hill (if you do this trade). You should definitely look for those 2 for 1's like you mentioned.

What does your pitching look like? From the look of your star studded offense, the pitching can't be as good.

Either way, I like your end of this deal, I'm not big believers in either Johnson or Wells.

So you are doing this based on value and future trade use.

If the $ is no big deal, do it, I think you can get a great deal done with Hill in the near future.

$$ is not an issue at this point. I figure with the depth I would have at 2B, it opens up a lot of trade possibilities. They way I'm looking at the trade is V. Wells for A. Hill and N. Johnson for Rajai.
