Injuries and other Problems

Postby Rabid58 » Wed May 05, 2010 10:59 pm

I currently am having trouble producing offense because of my injuries. My team is as follows

C: Molina
1B: R. Howard
2B: D. Uggla
3B: A. Rodriguez
SS: J. Reyes
OF: M. Kemp
OF: J. Guillen
OF: A. McCutchen
UT: J. Lopez

My bench is all injured including, Jorge Posada, Rafael Furcal, and Jacoby Ellsbury. McCutchen also has been injured recently. My Pitching is:

SP:
Ubaldo Jimenez
Rich Harden
Yovani Gallardo
John Danks
Jon Lester
Wandy Rodriguez
Randy Wolf

RP:
Heath Bell
Fransisco Cordero
Jose Valverde

I start 2 SP, 2 RP, and 2 more any pitchers. I was thinking of dropping a pitcher for a pickup for my offense. Maybe someone like Chris Young, Alfonso Soriano, Fukudome, Adam LaRoche, Andruw Jones to name a few. I also won't be keeping 2 catchers once Posada is fully healthy. I should keep Posada and drop Molina right? After he is healthy. And then i'm not sure if i should look for a trade or go to the FA to get my offense going. Any help or tips are appreciated greatly. Thanks!

P.S. I haven't gotten a single hold this season... any help there?

If you need offense I'd probably drop Wolf for one of Jones or Young (dealer's choice).

Drop Wolf for the hot bat. With the way your format is, there aren't too many weeks you will be starting Wolf anyway (Gallardo, Lester, Danks and Jimenez would be my 4 SP mixed in with 2 RP of your choice)

If you are looking to just grab a hot bat, go with Jones, Young or Soriano, whichever you pefer.
