Should I look to trade Gregg while he is pitching lights out or hold on to him with the hope that he doesnt revert to his old self?

I own Kevin Gregg, and I may not want to trade him away. He may not be able to keep pitching like this for the whole season, but it depends on how many closers do you like to have. Kerry Wood is coming back soon, so Perez will be back to setup in the next 2 weeks or so. That will leave you with 3 active closers, and I would say you should be winning SV categories most of the times in that scenarios. If you trade him alone, he doesn't worth a whole lot. He can be only used as a guy to sweeten the deal. Just my opinion.

I too have Kevin Gregg and have been very pleased with his performance. I don't know how short his leash is, but I would keep him and keep on eye on the closer situation. If they give the spot to Downs or Frasor sometime through the season, pick em up! He's probably more valuable to keep than trade at this point in the season.

They were resting him is what I understand. Gregg pitched Monday and Tuesday and it was a managers decision to leave Frasor out there since to that point Frasor had only pitched 1/3 in the 8th.
