Lincecum trade value?

I need a closer bad and I am thinking of offering Lincecum for a closer and starter but not sure what/who to get.

Check the waiver wire. If you are trading Lincecum for a closer and a starter, you better be getting Mariano and a Top 10 starter, because closers in general are just not worth it.

On the other hand, what are the rules of your league? Number of teams? 5x5?

An owner is dead last in saves and thinking of punting.


His only owner is Papelbon and he also owns Felix Hernandez, so I was thinking of doing the following bit still, I hate selling low on Billingsley.

I would not do that trade.

I would try and offer up Bills for a lesser closer.

Don't do that. Maybe I would think about Lincecum for Felix and Papelbon straight up.

But I would much rather do a small trade for a middle of the road closer, trying to acquire Rauch or someone like that than giving up a big name to get a big name closer.
