I don't know how people can argue against Cabrera being a top 5 hitter in the game. He just hit another bomb today on the first pitch he has seen since Sunday (due to the birth of his daughter and the weird schedule). He's also never played in less than 157 games in a season and has raked every year since he was only 20 years old. I think this is finally his year to win MVP
also, in regards to the title of this thread, Cabrera won't be on the All Star team because Teixeira with his .210 AVG - and a lower OBP than MCab's AVG - is leading the voting. Youkilis is after Teixeira..

I do think so. Its been said many time by many people that he has a new appreciation for the game and is working harder than he has ever in his entire career.

Also he's not getting hammered after the game with opposing players, coming home at 5am, getting into a physical altercation with his wife then getting picked up at the police station by his manager afterwards. That helps too.
