For the 'long haul' I would go with Byrd. Marlon has a much more firm grasp on PT in ChiTown. But its really a case of: do you want speed or do you want power?

Both should hit for a very nice average, Marlon with topple Gardner in HR/RBI, but Brett will tag Marlon in R/SB. If it were just general production I would take Marlon, but the only way I take Gardner over Byrd is if I need steals.

Wow, wow, wow, easy there turbo. Your cutting ties with those guys? I just don't understand this, I have been able to pick up Sizemore in 2 leagues and Carlos in 3, one league out of them I got both, and I'm LOVING IT! There is no way that I would be cutting these guys just yet, I could see Grady over Lee, because Lee has been consistant for like the last 8 years, whereas Grady has had now 2 so-so years. But come on, Bryd will be there reguardless and Gardner will once again be contesting for PT again in just a few weeks. I really think these are bad descisions to be cutting these players right now.

Don't cut Sizemore. He admits he's healthy, should be in the prime of his career, and is just in a wicked awful funk right now. Wait it out.

Carlos Lee though... I think the writing is on the wall. Still don't know if I'd out-right cut him, but I certainly wouldn't have drafted him. I still don't think I'd cut him for Byrd or Gardner though...
