Drop Floyd for? - WHIR

i would hold on to floyd. like you said, he's a slow starter, but when he's on he's a solid #2. as for activating blanton, go w/ your gut and drop kaz.

Looks like the majority of you say to hold onto Floyd for now. I must say I am surprised by that. I thought for sure most would say drop him for someone with more upside, but I guess I was wrong.

I would drop Kazmir for Blanton first. As for Floyd I would actually hold on to him for a few starts and if he continues to pitch the way he has, then consider dropping him. Keep in mind its only May and many players are just slow starters, give him some time.

Keep Floyd. I would drop Kazmir to activate Blanton.

Thanks for the help. I like Floyd for Chacin and dropping Kazmir. While Floyd should come around, I don't see him being very valuable. A bit inconsistent for me. Chacin has a nice track record, solid Triple A. I'd like to see his next few starts show an improvement in walks, but I think he's got some great talent. I wouldn't worry too much about the ballpark and he has a great lineup so he should get some decent wins.

Yeah I have been really reading up on this kid and he seems like a good add for sure. He starts tomorrow vs. LAD though so I think I will wait and see how he does then. If he does OK and is still available then I may be dropping Floyd for him.
