Matt Holliday for Johan Santana and friends.

Team A gets Matt Holliday
Team B gets Johan Santana, Adam Jones, Jay Bruce

This is a standard 5x5 head to head league. Team A is lacking in power. Team B is lacking in steals. Is Team A giving up on Johan too soon? Is team B giving up too much for a questionable pitcher and source of steals? Which team is improving the most? If you feel one team is an overwhelming favorite in this trade, what would you see as an even counter offer? WHIR, leave links.

honestly, i dont like the trade for either team. Team A has 2 nice aces, but absolutely no depth after that so doesnt make a ton of sense to deal johan. for Team B, their hitting is somewhat weak and dealing holliday for 2 young, unproven guys is a bit of a blow. Their pitching is solid, but the kicker in this deal is what each team believes in johan. Obviously the seller wants to deal him, but for me to buy johan id have to believe he is going to be an ace for me to give up holliday (which i dont, and i wouldnt). the team that gets matt holliday wins the trade though, altho i am a big believer in bruce, but not in johan/jones.
