According to MLB.com, RHP Jose A. Contreras would likely close games for the Phillies until manager Charlie Manuel deems Brad Lidge ready. Lidge, who came off the DL on Friday after needing time to recover from elbow and knee surgeries, allowed hits to two of the three batters he faced in his first appearances that same day.

Fantasy Analysis
Contreras has been dominant in his new role as a reliever, recording 12 strikeouts in 6 2/3 innings with a 1.35 ERA. He's an interesting stopgap if you're desperate for saves because whoever closes games for the Phillies will get plenty of opportunities.
