Should I Grab One of These Guys on WW

Postby Kimbos Beard » Mon May 03, 2010 4:03 pm

Simple Question: Is any of these guys worth a pickup on my team. I am holding the number #1 Waiver Wire Priority. I am intrigued by Granderson, but I am deep at OF and I only have one DL with Beltran in it.

1. Curtis Granderson -DL
2. Ben Sheets
3. Carlos Zambrano

My Team:

C- Doumit
1B - Fielder
2B - Phillips
3B - Wright
SS - Alexei Ramirez
OF - Markakis, Bay, CarGo
Util - Pablo
Bench - Borbon, Beltran (DL)

SP - Wainwright, Billingsley, Cain, Gavin Floyd, Rich Harden, Shaun Marcum, Chris Young, Mike Pelfrey
RP - Gregg, Rauch, Aardsma,Capps

OF COURSE I AM A MEMBER OF THE CAFE RESPONSE TEAM WHICH MEANS 100% WHIR

I'd pick up Granderson in a second, especially since you can stash him on the DL. With a good year he could outperform Markakis and Bay. Ben Sheets and Zambrano are trash.

I would also definitely pick up Granderson. I would rather have him in my DL spot over Beltran.

I agree with this statement. Also, I'd keep an eye on zambrano and see when he joins the rotation again. I'd probably drop gavin floyd for him.

help me out man?

Definately Granderson. Hitting in that ball park when he comes off the DL will put up at least 20HR's through the rest of the season plus add a bunch of SB's too. Definately worth the pick up

Who are you holding onto your #1 WW position for if not someone of Granderson's caliber?

Definitely grab CG. My drop would be Harden or Zambrano.
