he is absolutely not droppable right now. as it was stated earlier, peavy made some improvements vs. texas in his last outing even though a glance at the box score wouldn't indicate it. peavy was rocked in the first inning to the tune of 5 runs, but after that, he was relatively sharp, striking out batters and allowing 1 run through the final 5 innings of his outing. it was nowhere near an impressive outing by any means, but it certainly shows that the comeback may be around the corner. he gets kansas city tonight, and the blue jays after that so hopefully he can have 2 solid outings. best that peavy owners can do right now is let him ride the pine until he shows 2 consecutive quality starts. he's certainly won't be the Cy Young winner he was in SD with a 2.5 era and 240 K's, but he definitely has the potential to be a 3.10 200 K pitcher in the AL. but we'll see...

Glad I started him tonight..wonder if others did?
I did, I dropped Sheets earlier today too(him or Peavy as I'm waay behind in Pitching because of these guys). I think Peavy just needed the Royals as a remedy. I think what's most encouraging is that he only walked 1 today.
nope, owned him in 2 leagues and contemplated starting him but couldn't bring myself to do it with how bad he's been. i'd rather him pitch lights out on my bench than get rocked in my starting lineup.
