My I went back and forth trying to get a deal going. Traded my Longoria, Garza, Slowey, Aardsma for his Zimmerman, Gallardo, Kershaw, Lindstrom.
I think I gave up a lot, but got a lot of pitching. This is H2H so I figure the closer to be a non situation in this. Zimmerman and Longoria I have at near identical value. Gallardo and Kershaw I have way above Garza and Slowey

i wouldn't put longoria/ zimmerman at identical value at all...
for 1 a better lineup around longoria (more RBI/run)... but i don't hate on zimmerman, he is very good... but you did get a lot more pitching (IMO) ... but i did like Garza, and not a big fan of Kershaw.. but all in all it was a fair trade IMO
I have to be honest, I don't understand these challenge trades...trading same players at the same position is nothing more than a coin flip trade. If you were in a big need for sp, then I guess I don't have a problem with it. However, I dont' think Kershaw and Gallardo are better than Garza.
Thanks for the help, helped both you guys in return. It's h2h so while I really like Garza, I'm a bit iffy about trusting him every week considering the teams he plays. What helped motivate me with this deal is that 90% of the money is going towards first place in the playoffs. I feel like this deal keeps my team pretty competitive and gives me a bit more reassurance come playoff time. Also if I didn't have AGonz I wouldn't do that deal, but I have a decent amount more in terms of power compared to the rest of the league. With Longo's SB ability I have Reyes, Pierre and a few 20+ guys so I wasn't concerned with that. Does my logic make sense or was this a bad deal still? I'm a bit on the fence with it, but think it helped my pitching a ton.

that deal was vetoed, but he keeps sending me trades. I thought he wanted to improve on pitching, but it looks like he wants Longoria instead. He has MCab, Howard, Zimmerman, Gallardo, KRod, B.Anderson, Ethier who I'm interested in. I was thinking 1. Longoria, Morneau/A.Gonzalez, Slowey for Zimmerman MCab/Howard, Gallardo 2. Longoria, Wagner/Gregg for Zimmerman, Gallardo, KRod 3. Longoria, Slowey/Pelfrey for Zimmerman, Gallardo, B.Anderson 4. Longoria, CarGo for Zimmerman, Ethier Can also do Longoria along for some of them. Like any of these?

OK, I would not have made that deal, giving up Longoria is too much, even though I like Zimmerman.
However, that deal was vetoed? Get out of that league now. It is full of people who will veto a deal unless they won't lose by the other teams improving themselves.
Seriously, who got the edge in that deal by so much that it makes it vetoable.

lol yea I know. They thought I was getting ripped off. Looking at it, it's probably not the best deal for me to make, but wouldn't kill me. Do you like any of those other deals?

I think you are severely undervaluing Longoria. I love Zimmerman but Longo is a clear tier above. I think you should look to get one of his big 1B bats. If you really like Zim that much then you should look to make this deal in your favor.
