This should be wicked hard even though saying that here at the cafe is just an invitation to have my question answered in 30 seconds or less :-B

Name this very short list:

Ed Linke

You see, now why did I think that question was hard?

On July 26, 1935, Jesse Hill's line drive bounced off the head of pitcher Ed Linke and back to catcher Jack Redmond on the fly, who threw to second, doubling off Ben Chapman. Linke was hospitalized for 2 days.

On Sept. 7, 1935, Boston's Joe Cronin lined a drive off the head of Cleveland 3rd baseman Odell Hale. The ball caromed to shortstop Bill Knickerbocker, who started the triple play that ended the game.
