Next In Line In Milwaukee? WHIR!

Postby Wadderboiz » Mon May 03, 2010 8:28 am

I'm in a deep NL only league and have only Ryan Franklin earning saves. My starting staff is solid, so I'm looking to take a flyer on a middle reliever who may get some saves. With Hoffman uncharacteristically struggling, and his backup Hawkins not fairing any better, who is the most likely candidate to pick up saves in Brew Town if their struggles continue?

I like Carlos Villuaneva as the handcuff with the most upside.

Bump...How about in Philly? Madsen busted a toe, and Lidge is Jekyl/Hyde? Who's next in line there?

It looks like it is Jose Contreras.

According to what I've heard-

Villaneuva in Milwaukee
Contreras in Philly

I still like Hawkins in MIL.

Now that Madson is on the DL, it's Contreras in Philly as well.
