Is the two start in Garcia worth the risk??? WHIR %100!!

Postby HueyntheNews » Mon May 03, 2010 1:38 am

Dempster and Hamels have 2 start weeks so I'm obviously starting them.
So I'm trying to decide whether to Start a two start Jamie Garcia over Weaver, Lirano or Josh Johnson.
Those three have been and are Ace material. I'm leaning toward letting liriano ride the pine if anything, but he's got an easy matchup against Was, and Joshson has a good matchup at the O's. Weaver has to duel Hernandez, but besides his last start he's been clutch. Jamie Garcia faces an injured Joe blanton in philly and then Pit. So who do I start? is it worth the chance? DO you think Garcia can hold up or should I take the seven starts and not get greedy? THANKS! I''ll respond to yours, leave a link

I plan on sitting Garcia tonight. Of the 3 you mention, I might sit Weaver if you decide to throw Garcia out in Philly.

I' m not sure either? He has pitched very well, but against this offense I may sit him if you have other options. FWIW I am probably going to start him since I already have Peavy going so at that point what the hell?

Garcia not a bad start at all. Of the 3 1 start guys, I'd sit Weaver.
