Ethier/Liriano Blockbuster on the table -- WHIR always

This guy may yank this deal so some quick help would be awesome.

I give Liriano, Magglio and Jaime Garcia
I get Cain, Ethier and Mike Leake

I think it's a good deal for me as Cain is a solid replacement for Liriano and Ethier is an upgrade over Maggs, but will Liriano make me regret such a move? Is Mike Leake for Jaime Garcia a dealbreaker?

I'd do that deal in a heart beat.

Yes Liriano has been studly and looks to be back to his old ways, but Cain is no slouch at all. Leading in ERA and high K rates, and surprisingly SanFran's offese has actually been scoring some decent run totals for that great SF pitching staff to get the W's.

Either way if you like Liriano or Cain, the upgrade from Maggs to Ethier is way too much to pass up. That is huge! Also I think too many overlooked the skill set of Mike Leake and he was barried in terms of people knowing about him because of Bailey and Chapman. His is straight out of College and already doing this with very limited experience, he can only get better from here.

I do that deal in a heartbeat as I really think Ethier is a huge win over Maggs, Cain will end up the winner over Liriano and the Garcia to Leake will be closer then most think it will with Garcia's hot start.

That trade is a sure win on your part. The last two pitchers pretty much cancel out, I think Cain will slightly outperform Liriano by season's end, and while Ethier is hot as **** right now, he'll still be way better than Magglio once he cools down. Pull the trigger.
