Big Papi back..??

Hit a couple of Hr yesterday and now has good history vs.Millwood, 9-25 with 3 hr and only 2 k. I believe Papi will begin his comeback out of obscurity and return to fantasy relevance.

He was fantasy relevant the 2nd half of last year when he hit .258 with 16 HR and 52 RBI in 66 games started.

The big problem is his AVG. If he is going to hit under .270 suddenly he hurts you in AVG and in SB, doesn't really help you in R and is only a 2 category player. Slow power hitters need to carry a good average or have extreme R/HR/RBI numbers to carry strong value.

If a player is a UTIL only, he's gotta be pretty special.
DO NOT WANT.

He's not. He's 1B/CI eligible in Yahoo.

No. Both home runs last night were fastballs, which he's been cheating on because his bat speed isn't there. Offspeed stuff has made look terrible. I hope I'm wrong and he goes on a tear like last year but he just looks so lost most of the time that a two HR night isn't going to make me change my mind.

To answer the OP's question, no. Balls were flyin' out of the park last night, so I'd call it luck more than anything that he went yard twice...

He looks awful again today...

Exactly, 9HR total between the 2 teams. Seemed like every fly ball drifted over the wall.

He is the worst. With Lowell still around, for now, Poopi may not get a chance to work through it this year.
