Any news on Furcal?

Does anyone have a clue how long before Furcal gets back in the lineup? All I can find on Yahoo is that he shouldn't go on the DL.

ESPN league reads that it is looking like he will be headed to the DL.
Furcal (hamstring) may need to go on the disabled list, the Los Angeles Times reports.

Manager Joe Torre mentioned that Furcal's progress has stopped and other than taking ground balls hit directly to him, he has not anything. "When you're a shortstop and have to do all the athletic things he has to do, he has to be 100%," Torre said. "I just explained that to him. So we'll see what it is [Monday]." We'll keep you posted.

yup, furcal is going to the DL. jamey carroll is supposed to get the majority of AB's filling in for furcal and chin-lung hu will be called up to be the backup and get a spot start here and there. will be interesting to see what this dodger lineup looks like without furcal and manny. dodgers don't look anywhwere near as good as they did last yr. the dodgers really whiffed by not signing anyone in the offeseason. the team was so close to a world series contender and ethier/kemp/kershaw/bills/brox will be stars for them for a very long time, but outside of that, they have mediocre players at best and nothing exciting in the minor league system.
